We believe that everyone, no matter their circumstances or background, deserves access to the basics of life: food, shelter, clothing, and water. That's why we work tirelessly to bring these services to our most vulnerable neighbors in Metro Detroit.
Why We're Different
From Detroit, For Detroit
Blessed To Give was birthed from the struggle. Founded in 2019, Dejuan and Carol Puttman decided to be an active part of the positive change in Detroit, particularly by providing aid for our neighbors experiencing homelessness.
We've walked the streets and seen the hurt of our neighborhoods and experienced lack firsthand. That upbringing has humbled us, birthing a passion to speak life and spread love in our city. We are committed to being a part of the positive change in Detroit.
